The Pheasant at Neenton is run by Neenton Community Trading C.I.C. Ltd, a Community Interest Company that is wholly-owned by Neenton Community Society, a charitable Community Benefit Society.
This privacy policy explains how we use any personal information we collect about you.
1.What information do we collect about you?
We collect information about you primarily when you voluntarily sign-up to receive newsletters, complete customer surveys, provide feedback and participate in competitions or prize draws. Information collected when you apply to join our Loyalty Club is passed to the Pub Marketing Circle who run the Club and manage the member information. We collect information when you book a table, room or function with us.
This information typically includes your name, gender, address, e-mail address and mobile or landline phone number. Information gathered for Loyalty Club membership may also include your partner’s name if you have one, your birthdays and anniversaries and preferred dining times. The Pub Marketing Circle also hold data on your transactions with us, the points you have earned and the points you’ve spent.
We do not hold ‘sensitive’ information about you as defined in the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Website usage information is collected using cookies.
Credit / Debit card information is not stored and is used and processed in accordance with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard as required by the organisations who send your card payments to us.
2.How will we use the information about you?
We collect information about you when you book a table, room or function with us to manage your booking and account and, if you agree, to email you about events or offers we think may be of interest to you. If you tell us directly you’d like to receive this information, and express a preference for e-mail, text or post, we’ll manage your messages accordingly. If you haven’t told us, as a past or present customer of the Pheasant we send you such information on the basis of ‘legitimate interest’ as provided for in the law: our interest try to ensure you are a customer in the future, as well as it being in your interest to hear for example about events that may appeal or offers that may save you money.
Information about your and/or your partner’s birthdays and anniversaries, or your preferred dining times, is used to send you complimentary vouchers or offers which recognise your important dates and preferences.
We also use your information collected from our website, and from the Loyalty Club, to tailor our communications and offers so they are as interesting as possible to you.
Loyalty Club information is passed by us to the Pub Marketing Circle for them to manage subject to their own privacy policy which you can access here.
Other than this, we never share your information with other organisations for marketing purposes and would only share such data with anyone in order to fulfil your booking and settle your account or if required by law.
3.Marketing
We will periodically send you information about events or offers we think may be of interest to you. At any point you can tell us to stop sending you such information, for example by clicking on the ‘unsubscribe’ button in e-mails or on our website.
4.Keeping your data secure
Data we hold about you, whether in electronic or paper form, will be stored securely following procedures that are compliant with the GDPR
We will use appropriate security measures to prevent your personal data from being accidentally lost, used, altered, disclosed, or accessed without authorisation. We will also allow access to your personal data only to those employees and partners who have a business need to know such data. They will only process your personal data on our instructions and they must keep it confidential.
We will only retain your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes we collected it for, including for the purposes of satisfying any legal, accounting, or reporting requirements.
5.Access to your information, correction and erasure.
You have the right to request a copy of the information that we hold about you. We may make a small charge for this service. We want to make sure that your personal information is accurate and up to date. You may ask us to correct or remove information you think is inaccurate. If you wish, provided there is no outstanding account to be settled, you can tell us to delete your data from our records.
